FAQs

  • How do I check in my child?

Follow these simple steps to get started:

If this is your first time visiting, make sure you fill out our pre-registration form below!

Download & Log In: Download the Church Center App from your app store. Log in using the same information (email or phone number) you used when you initially filled out your Connect Card (or pre-registration form).

Find Our Church: Search for and select Destiny Church from the list of local churches.

Access Check-In: Once you are on the home page, tap the "More" (three dots) icon in the bottom menu and select "Check-In."

*Pre check-in opens every Sunday morning starting at 6:00 AM.

Select Your Family: Simply check the names of the children you are checking in for service.

Save Your Code: The app will generate a unique barcode/QR code.

Scan & Go: When you arrive at the kids' drop-off area, just show us that code on your phone! We’ll scan it, and you’ll be all set.

*If you have trouble finding your account, try using the phone number you most frequently associate with church sign-ups!

  • How do I pick up my child?

During check-in, be sure to keep the security tag that prints off with your child’s name tag. When you come to pick up, we make sure the code matches your child’s name tag to ensure your child’s safety.

  • Is there anything for parents of young children?

Yes! For nursing mothers, we have a comfortable nursing mother’s room equipped with snacks, waters, a changing table, and a live feed of the service so you won’t miss a thing.

  • How will you reach me if my child needs me?

We will send a text message to the number you provide upon registering your child for check in. If you do not respond to the text within 5 minutes, the code on your parent tag will appear on the screen in the worship center.

  • How do I know that my kids are safe?

We have an incredible security team posted at the doors for each service. We ensure safety by running background checks for every leader who serves with minors. We have protocols in place for emergencies and make sure that no adult is alone with a minor at any time.

  • What is the sick policy?

Please don’t check in your child if:

-They have had a fever above 99° within the last 24 hours

-They have vomited within the last 24 hours

    -They pink eye

-They have a contagious disease (flu, measles, covid-19, rubella, mumps, meningitis)

-They have any open and/or weeping sores or wounds

-They have any unexplained and/or contagious rash (chicken pox, boils, ringworm, Hand Foot Mouth, impetigo)

    -They have lice

  • What are Child Dedications?

Child Dedication is a special moment where parents publicly commit to raising their child to know and follow Jesus. It’s an opportunity to present your child before God and your church family, asking for grace, wisdom, and support as you lead them spiritually.

It’s also a time that you commit to praying that, as your child grows, they will come to personally trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. At Destiny, we love coming alongside families in this meaningful step of faith!

Child Dedications are held on the third Sunday of every other month (odd-numbered months, except for July). You can register for the next one today!
